Welcome to Wakamiya Commercial High School's Website!
Wakamiya Commercial High School first opened its doors on February 1, 1963. Since then, our school has been a traditional commercial high school with a history of over 60 years. It is the only commercial school in the south of Nagoya. Since its founding more than 17,000 graduates have become active in various fields. We have worked hard to fulfill our mission as a public commercial school in a large city by readying students for the industries in Nagoya. Through both high school education and commercial education, we strive to meet the educational goals of raising good citizens who: aspire to peace; love truth and justice; respect freedom; are responsible; enjoy working; are aware of their duty; honor individual’s dignity; are open minded to the world; and want to develop a healthy society.In addition to academic studies, many students are also achieving results in club activities. Last year, the dance club won the 4th place in the HIP- HOP LARGE category at the USA School & College Nationals 2024, the national championship tournament. The baton club participated in the National tournament for the 15th consecutive year. The art club participated in Aichi Prefecture Commercial Practice Competition for the 28th consecutive year and won the first prize in the commercial art division. Both sports and cultural clubs have been very active.
In keeping with the school spirit, our staff will continue working to raise healthy individual students who are refreshingly enthusiastic. To all the parents and those nearby, we look forward to your support again this year. Thank you.

若宮のホームページへようこそお越しくださいました。
若宮商業高校は、昭和38年2月1日に開校しました。それ以来、本校は60年を超える歴史を持つ、伝統ある商業高校です。また、名古屋の南部地域では唯一の商業科であり、地域に根ざした学校として親しまれてまいりました。創立以来、１万７千名を超える卒業生が巣立ち、各分野で活躍されています。名古屋の産業を支える人材の育成という、大都市の公立商業科としての使命を果たすべく努力を重ねてまいりました。
本校の教育目標は、「清新・溌剌・颯爽とした人を育てる。思いやりの心と協働の精神を育み、社会に貢献できる人物を育成する。産業人として必要な資質を養うとともに、一般的な教養を有する人財を育成する」ことであり、高校教育・商業教育両面から、よき社会人の育成をめざすものであります。
また、学業のみならず、部活動においても、多くの生徒たちが活躍をしています。昨年度は、ダンス部がUSA School & College Nationals 2024、全国選手権大会において、HIP HOP LARGE部門で第4位に入賞しました。バトン部は全国大会に15年連続出場を果たし、美術部は、愛知県商業実務総合競技大会、商業美術の部で、28年連続優勝をしました。運動系・文化系ともに、各部が精力的に活動しています。
「清新・溌剌・颯爽」の校風のもとに生徒の皆さんがすこやかに育っていけるよう、私たち教職員は一丸となって取り組んでまいります。保護者・地域の皆様には、今年度もまた格別のご支援をたまわりますよう、よろしくお願い申し上げます。
